Privacy Policy

The short version: your photos are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to, stored on, or seen by us. This page explains exactly what does and does not leave your browser.

Effective date: 1 October 2026

Your photos never leave your device

PhotoRevive AI is a purely front-end website. When you open a tool and load a photograph, the image is read into your browser's local memory (the HTML5 Canvas API). Every repair, filter and export is computed on your own computer or phone. Your photos are not uploaded to any server, not transmitted over the network during processing, and not stored by us in any way. There is no account system and no image database on our side. Once the page has loaded, the tools keep working even if you disconnect from the internet.

What information we collect

We keep data collection to an absolute minimum:

  • No account, no images, no uploads. We never ask you to sign up, and we never receive, store or have access to the photographs you edit.
  • Local storage on your device only. Your saved pages ("Saved" list) and your language preference are kept in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
  • Basic website usage statistics. To understand which pages and tools are useful, we rely on anonymized, aggregated traffic statistics and standard server logs (such as pages requested, approximate country, browser type and referrer). These logs do not identify you and are not linked to your photos.
  • Advertising-related cookies. See the next section.

Third-party advertising cookies (Google AdSense / DoubleClick)

This site is free and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, a service of Google LLC. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. These cookies are set by Google/ad partners, not by PhotoRevive AI, and they never contain your photographs.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for login, analytics profiling or marketing on our own behalf. The only cookies on this site are:

  • Advertising and ad-measurement cookies placed by Google AdSense / DoubleClick, used to display and measure ads. You can manage or delete them through your browser settings or the Google opt-out links above.

Our own preferences (language, saved pages) are stored in your browser's localStorage, not in cookies, and remain entirely on your device.

Your GDPR rights (EEU / UK visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your personal information ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including personalized advertising.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • Data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we do not collect or store your images and keep personal data to a minimum, most of these rights apply to the limited aggregated/advertising data described above. To exercise any right, email us using the contact details below.

Your CCPA rights (California visitors)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of your personal information, to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell your personal information), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. You may contact us at the address below to make a request.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because your photographs are processed locally and never sent to us, there is no image data for a child to submit. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "effective date" above. Material changes will be reflected here promptly.
